Testimonies of Linda Davis:

"I have known Mrs. Davis for over twenty years or more. She was like a mother to me. She has taught me how to go after my dreams and manage in this big world. I have always admired all her accomplishments that she has done in her life. I met Mrs. Linda Davis at Illinois Central College where she was the Director of Riverview Garden Child Development Center in Peoria, Illinois. She ran a pilot program for young girls who wanted the opportunity to work and go to school but needed childcare.  I was the Early Childhood teacher for the two-year old classroom at the center.  While being a teacher at a great center, Mrs. Linda Davis would take time out of her busy day to train me on the fundamentals of running a productive center. Not only did she train me on being a great educator, she also taught me there is a blessing behind helping people.
Mrs. Linda Davis passion has always been family and early education for young children. After a few years into the pilot program, Mrs. Davis moved away, and I became the acting director of the center. My professional development skills kicked in fast. I knew this was the beginning of a new adventure. It was a hard task in the beginning, but I knew Mrs. Davis was always a phone call away.
She is still a phone call away. She will always be my inspiration and motivation".
